////////// PUBLICATION COLOPHON & CREDITS ISSN 1755-733X

Paperback was established in 2006 as an international printed periodical on art and visual culture.

Conceived as a hybrid between an artists' book, an exhibition space, and a collectible softcover magazine, Paperback paired experimental typography with monographic visual projects, felt-tip drawings, Japanese comic art, and critical essays.

The magazine was edited and creative-directed by Oliver Watson, with publishing directed by Kris Latocha. Each issue was issued in an A5 format (14.8 × 21 cm) offset-printed with accompanying supplements, such as artist monographs, original drawing booklets, and custom editions.
